Impact 4 You: Teambuilding Activities
Habitat For Humanity Teambuilding
Impact 4 Good creates teambuilding activities for socially responsible companies that benefit participating employees and the community at large.
The American Red Cross estimates that over 275,000 homes were destroyed when Hurricane Katrina ripped through the Gulf Coast. Over 5,000 of those homes were located in the St. Tammany Parish of Louisiana, just north of New Orleans. As Louisiana rebuilds, Americans from across the country are lending a helping hand to provide shelter for those in need, and Habitat for Humanity is leading the way by building new homes for the displaced. For those that cannot travel to Louisiana to participate in Habitat's efforts, this activity enables companies holding meetings, retreats, or incentive trips across America to assist Katrina victims in a unique manner, from a conference room or ballroom! In this competitive teambuilding activity, teams take part in challenging team-oriented tasks that result in the construction of personalized housewarming gifts that will be donated to Habitat home beneficiaries in St. Tammany Parish moving into their first homes since the hurricanes hit.
